Where is Beautec Beauty Academy's training school

Beautec's Beauty Academy is situated on the London / Essex / Herts Border 5 minutes from Loughton station on the London Underground Central Line - 30 minutes from Liverpool Street and the city.

With easy access by road, 10 minutes from the M25, Jnc 26 at Waltham Abbey and less than 5 minutes from the M11 jnc 5 we are perfectly situated to suit both local and commuting students.

Can I get insurance after the course?

All our courses are accredited by BABTAC and Guild of Professional Beauty Therapist which can arrange inexpensive insurance.

Will the Beautec Diploma enable me to get me a job?

As all our courses are approved by the leading industry associations, many salons know of our high reputation and in fact send their own therapists to us for training.

What should I consider when choosing a training school?

1. Ensure that all teaching staff have teaching qualifications, not just their beauty qualification.
2. Ask if the course will enable you to obtain membership and insurance with one of the beauty associations.
3. What kind of support does the school give to students after completing a course.

How much is the course deposit and when is the balance due?

A 30% deposit is required and the balance is due 2 weeks prior to the course commencing.

Are the course lecturers fully qualified?

All our lecturers hold teaching qualifications and are registered assessors with the appropriate qualifications in the subject areas they teach.

Will I need a kit?

All equipment and products are provided for your training on the day but kits can be provided for any of the courses you part take in if you require.

How much practice will I receive on the day?

The day is predominantly practical which will give you the experience you need to master the skill. You will be working on fellow students so you can receive the treatment for yourself as well as give the treatment.

What time do the courses start and finish?

This can vary from course to course. Our day courses normal run from 10:00 to 17:00 and half day courses from 10:00 to 1:30.

What should I wear for the course?

Professional uniform is preferred, but if you are new to the industry comfortable, plain short sleeve clothing is best. Jewellery to be removed and hair tied off the face.

Will the course run if there are not enough students?

All courses will go ahead, although if there is only one person on the course you will be required to bring a model.

What kind of support is offered after attending a course with Beautec?

Full post-course support is offered. This can be done through email, telephone or in person and all students are encouraged to stay in touch.

English is my second language. Will I be able to take the course?

If English is not your first language and you feel you may find the course difficult to understand them please bring this to our attention so we can make the requirements needed for your success on the course. An interpreter can be used to help in the process.

If students are unable to answer questions written or orally to show a satisfactory understanding of the subject then we reserve the right not to award our diploma which states that students have ‘successfully completed a course’ at the required standard.

What happens if I have to cancel or postpone my course?

Deposits and course payments are non refundable and non transferable. Failure to attend a confirmed course will result in the loss of all payments made for that course.

In the event of a genuine reason for cancellation (of which proof maybe required) a request for transfer to a later course will be considered at the discretion of Beautec Beauty Academy.
